And the best part is if you visit on a Friday or Saturday you get to enjoy live music and fresh (and amazing) pizza. Every year we bring lots of puzzles, books, and card games. We slow down, visit the animals, pick flowers together, stay up late having bonfires and laying in the grass looking at the stars, and leave rested with full hearts. Heather and Mercedes are beyond kind. We absolutely cherish our time at the farm ❤ 🍕 🌼

Heather oriented us to the details of her home so that we could relax and enjoy the comfort and beauty of our stay.
Be sure to order a few goodies from the Suncrest Gardens food and beverage order form Heather sends after you book your stay. So nice to have healthy, comfort food waiting for us when we arrived. She even brought us a freshly harvested butternut squash to enjoy.
We can’t wait to return to this valley, this farm, these good people.

  We visited the farm with our 4 year old on a chilly March weekend. The house was immaculately clean considering it's on a farm. The beds were comfy and there... read more was more than enough space for our small family. Our daughter loved visiting the sheep (and lambs!) multiple times a day and was really excited to get to pet and hold a lamb. Heather and Mercedes were great hosts that gave us our space, but were friendly and approachable when we crossed paths on the farm. We ordered a pizza kit and some other tasty items. Highly recommend ordering some food staples from the farm, as nearby food stores are scarce, besides the fact that they're really good.

This was our first time visiting the area, and we didn't do much research beforehand. We still found more than enough to fill our weekend despite the time of year and a few closures. Prairie Moon was a hit, and nearby. The view from Buena Vista in Alma was fabulous. No matter where you end up, the scenery is lovely and driving through the hills is fun in its own right. Bridge over the rail tracks at Alma was closed (weather?), as was the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. We knew about the Eagle Center closure, but assumed (oops) there would be some outdoor exhibits or viewing opportunities, so just know that there's not much to see there until it re-opens after renovations are completed (Spring 2022). On the upside, we stumbled on a St. Patrick's Day parade in Wabasha, which was a fun surprise. I wish we would have made it to Lark Toys and Perrot State Park, but we'll hit those on the next trip.

The afternoon was relaxing, eating and enjoying delicious fire oven baked pizza and wine, and playing yard games. We will definitely return.
