  Relaxing retreat for our young family. This was a safe and fun place for our 1.5 yr old with easy access to outdoor play equipment, sledding, and saying "good morning"... read more and "good night" to the sheep each day. We were able to tag along with egg collection and meet the chickens as well! The attention to detail inside the house made our stay so enjoyable from the soft sheets to the well-labeled light switches. And the pizza from the restaurant was delicious! We are looking forward to coming back when it is a bit warmer outside to see the farm in different seasons.

We took advantage of Heather's offer to show us around the farm and help with the feeding/egg collecting chores and it was a highlight! The farmhouse itself exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, clean rooms, spacious layout, great little sauna w/ bluetooth for music, a charming deck off of the dining room for taking in the (beautiful, hilly) surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked with basics for cooking (oil, flour, basic seasonings), some complimentary bonus items, and all the pots/pans/utensils you'll need. Oh, and definitely take advantage of the farm foods they offer -- we ordered a make your own pizzas kit and it was all in the fridge when we arrived, made for a fun and delicious activity and so nice to not have to schlep in so many of our own groceries. Honestly, I'm picky and I have no complaints at all--Heather thought of literally everything. We are already hoping to return again in the summer for a pizza night!
