It’s hard to believe that the summer CSA is already half over. The variety and abundance of the season is beginning to roll in. We are having a hard time fitting all the goodness in your boxes. Next week, we will have tomatoes in the boxes! Those are always exciting words and it has been a long wait for sure. The lack of heat this last week slowed the garden down a bit; however, there is lots to come.

We are slowly starting to round up school supplies and are squeezing in the last of the summer must-do list of fun activities. The boys are enjoying a session of swimming lessons at the Aquatic Center in Winona which maxes out our days to the fullest with late bedtimes. Ashlan is healing from his tonsillectomy and has started to rejoin the activities of the world even though his food choices are still limited.

Our weekend will also be busy with a private wedding on Saturday for our lovely wedding couple, Ellie and Sebastian. Sunday night, we’re hosting a family fun pizza night for the Waumandee Rod N Gun Club.

CSA Schedule Reminder…

The summer CSA is 14 weeks long this season and runs through Wed, Sept 18th. There will be no deliveries on Wed, Sept 25th. The Fall CSA will begin the first Wednesday in October.

Wood-Fired Pizza Schedule…

Open both Thursdays and Fridays thru the end of August, 4:30-9pm. This Thursday evening, we have live music with Reineke and Lowery from 6-9pm.

Eat Well. Smile Often.

Your Farmer,

Heather
