Yes, little pints of smiling cherry tomatoes will await you on your boxes this week. So excited to start seeing the tomatoes roll in! We are beginning to work on preserving items for winter shares as the abundance is here. Roasted Asian broccoli is filling the freezer shelves, cucumbers are being pickled, and tomatoes will start to be roasted for the bases of many of our soups and sauces. It is a good time of year for sure.

I seem to still have not gotten enough of the green beans. Last night, I think I ate almost 2 pounds by myself. I have the recipe linked above for inspiration, but I always roast them at 400 for 20 min until a little browning starts to occur. Salt and pepper to taste with garlic and a good sprinkling of balsamic vinegar. Easy peasy and so good.

Are you having trouble eating all of your produce? Think about juicing. It can use lots of produce up in a hurry and gives you instant cellular energy to boost your health and vitality. Meal prep for a juiced meal takes about 5 minutes from start to dish cleaning.

This week we will host a private party for a local law office as well as begin to prepare for another wedding at the farm next weekend. Oh yes, and countdown for my wedding is now 1 month away 🙂 Hoping for the zinnias to keep strong until then. Sunflowers are now just starting to open.
