CSA Delivery Update: This is the last week for all of our Summer CSA members. I will be in touch next week with our Fall CSA members, however Fall deliveries do not begin until Wed, Oct 2nd.

A little blurb on our all-purpose Mountain Rose Potatoes. They have a unique pink interior and bright pink skin. Due to this pigmentation, they are high in antioxidants. They are excellent baked, mashed, or fried.

Everyone gets some sunshine this week! These are my favorite watermelon and are pretty hard to find in a “regular” grocery store. The yellow crisp flesh is a pleasant change from the traditional red watermelon. They are ripe so cut them up and eat them.

The delicata squash have thin skins and many a recipe includes slicing them into half rounds and then roasting them. They go well with apples, and apples are in full harvest at our local orchards. Visit one soon to get in the fall spirit.

Our wedding turned out to be a beautiful day! The weather was pleasant during the ceremony and we were blessed by late showers during the dance at the reception. Thank you to everyone who helped in so many ways to make our day special.

Last Month for Wood-Fired Pizza…only two nights left!

We are now only open Fridays thru the end of September, 4:30-9pm. Our live music on Friday, September 20th will be by the talented blues duo Joe & Vicki Price from 6-9pm.

Remember that we do host special events and private parties during our off season.
